…he is people’s friendly governor – Chairman
The Chairman of Like minds Okada Riders Association of Nigeria, Kwara State chapter, Com. Musa Bolarinwa Jimoh has heaped praises on the Governor of Kwara State, Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his gesture to the union , saying, the rehabilitation of the road across the capital city is timely.
Musa commended the governor for coming to their aid, saying the rehabilitation of roads has brought about cushion to transporters and has relieve unnecessary traffic jam in Ilorin metropolis.
The Chairman started this on Saturday while speaking with reporters in his Office.
According to him, ‘Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is a people’s friendly governor. He listened to our plight and put smiles on our faces with the road network he is doing.’
“You will agree with me that most of the roads in the state capital over the years have been in deplorable condition since the last administration and suffered neglect despite being awarded for rehabilitation/construction many times by the same government.
“Our motorcycles got damaged easily and we spent most of our profits on repairs and purchase of spare parts. We thank the governor for changing the narrative, ” the likemind chairman said.
He added that since the inception of the current administration in Kwara State, Okada Riders remain the direct beneficiary of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led government, affirming it has given his members up to three tranches of financial assistance.
“Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is a transparent governor. We transporters are the first beneficiaries of his largese. The road network is doing is ours. The governor has given us monetary aid to three times now and it cuts across all our members in the state. Gesture like that has never happen in Kwara State.
“But like Oliver Twist, we are appealing to His Excellency to come to our aid by giving we Okada Riders a subsides Motorcycles , as we know that the means of repayment would be soften compare to the exhobitant public price. We want the governor to help us on this.
“Thought Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been magnanimous to Okada Riders in the state before now. He has given us palliatives. He has given us monies and the roads network he doing will aid our job. We appreciate the Governor. He should provide us with subsides Motorcycles and we will not defunct, ” Musa promised.
He however promised to take the welfare and plight of his members paramount , affirming that Okada riding has become a good job in Nigeria, urging youth to shun social vices and embrace the job.
